Myriam Barrero
Raised in Coconut Grove and a true Miamian at heart, Barerro
is a pioneer In her field being a laser technician for over
16 years. She opened her first center for laser hair removal
in 1983 transitioning into the laser center of miami in 1993.
She is a member of the Electrolysis Association of Florida,
American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and Society
for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal. Her facility is also
licensed by the Agency for Health Care. She attended Miami
Dade College and Florida International University where she
also has a degree in Business. |

Silvia Plaza
Joining our team byway of Columbia, Plaza has a strong background
in skin care. She has been in Cosmetology since 2000. She
is a registered Esthetician since 2001 and an Electrologist.
Beyond being a hair removal specialist, she specializes in
microdermabrasion, skin peel and rejuvenation. She attended
Florida International University and also has a background
in business as well. |

Maggie Avila
Raised in Miami Beach, FL, Maggie was affiliated with Johnson
& Johnson for 15 years before going into the laser industry.
She is also a member of the Electrolysis Association of
Florida and Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal. |

Elena Valor, M.D.
As our resident medical doctor on staff, Elena's background
as a family practitioner and working in anti-aging and preventive
medicine brings adept knowledge and experience to our team.
She studied at St. Thomas University and the Universidad
Central Del Este San Pedro de Macoria in the Dominican Republic
and has worked as the chief fellow at the University of Miami/Jackson
Memorial Hospital. Currently residing in Coral Gables. Elena
is active in biking, aerobics and fishing. |
